Crystal Carlton of The Living Abstract accepts a limited number of commission requests for custom original paintings. Whether you have a specific vision in mind or just a feeling you want to capture, she'll work with you to create something truly one of a kind.
What You Can Commission
Crystal works in a variety of styles and can create a custom piece based on your preferences:
- Style: Dutch pour, tilt pour, abstract, coastal landscape, and more
- Size: A range of canvas sizes to fit your space
- Colors: Your choice of palette to complement your home or décor
Pricing
Commission pricing is based on the size of the canvas and the type of work requested. Crystal will provide a custom quote after your initial inquiry. No deposit is required to submit an inquiry.
Turnaround Time
Most commissions are completed within 2–4 weeks from the time the order is confirmed. You'll receive updates along the way and a photo of the finished piece before it ships.
What to Include in Your Inquiry
The more detail you share, the better! Here's what's most helpful:
- 📐 Size — What dimensions are you looking for? (e.g. 16x20, 24x36)
- 🎨 Style — Do you love fluid pours, textured abstracts, coastal landscapes, or something else?
- 🖌️ Colors — What palette speaks to you? Feel free to share hex codes, paint swatches, or describe the mood.
- 🏠 Where it will live — Tell me about the room — wall color, furniture, lighting. You can email room photos separately to thelivingabstract@gmail.com.
- ✨ Anything else — A feeling, a memory, a place — whatever inspires you.
